Briana Weisinger grows an entrepreneurial ecosystem in University of California, San Diego from 2016. She became the first startup advocate and has already attracted $2 million for support of entrepreneurs. Also, Briana helps American entrepreneurs to get investments.

Myrto Papathanou is a co-founder and Managing Partner at Metavallon VC, a venture capital fund investing in very early stage technology companies in Greece and Europe. She has 15 years of experience in the fields of finance and entrepreneurship and has been involved in several non-profit projects around the world.

She started her career in London, working as a credit risk and portfolio analyst for Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and later as a Fixed Income Strategist for EMEA at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Returning to Greece, she headed Corporate Development for CPΙ and since has been involved in technology and high-tech companies as a founder, mentor, investor and board member. Before co-founding Metavallon VC, she served as Group CFO and Head of Corporate Development at EFA Ventures, a group active Aerospace Defense and high-tech verticals.

Myrto has been active in supporting non-profit initiatives around entrepreneurship, women's empowerment and volunteering, co-founding Ethelon, consulting on microfinance projects in Kenya and Nicaragua and fundraising for Action Finance Initiative. She is an economist, with an MSc in Finance from Imperial College and an MBA from INSEAD. In 2016 she was recognized as 'Leader of the Year' by Linkage Greece in appreciation of her extraordinary leadership quality and contribution to the progress of business and society. In 2019 she became a Kauffman Fellow, the first from Greece.

Having completed a Masters Degree in Applied Mathematics from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, he started his career as a software developer and project/program manager in large IT companies (Luxoft, Dell, Ericsson). He developed an avionics software, managed process improvement initiatives, was responsible for due diligence cases and M&A in engineering and TMT industries and even evangelized agile methodologies before Agile became a mainstream practice.

After obtaining an MBA from INSEAD in 2010, Alex moved to the exciting and unpredictable world of entrepreneurship. He co-founded and managed a number of companies, some of which were successful and some less so. The "airbnb" for Russian speaking markets was one of the largest online apartment rental players on the CIS market by 2012. The "Booking.com" for medical tourists collapsed after the crush of the Russian currency in 2014. The gig he worked on before becoming partner of Speedinvest was Vest Financial – a company backed by Y Combinator and First Round Capital and acquired by Chicago Board Options Exchange in 2016.

Alex is an angel investor in a number of startups and works on board of one of the largest online travel agencies in Russia.
